I thought you liked democracy, Ty? Why do you now have a problem with a vote to change the constitution?

2 days ago 3 0 0 0

There it is..the Dems are somehow "cheating" now. Disregard all Republican voter suppression efforts and red state gerrymanders though.

Sure can Ty. What good does that do us in November of 2026?

You're still not addressing the issue at hand which deals with THIS ELECTION CYCLE, and Republicans attempting to rig the game. You have continually glossed over that point.

We agree that gerrymanders are bad overall.

The only reason the maps changed is because they were declared unconstitutional by the courts.

By this logic, we should let the gerrymanders get as bad as possible and hope the Supreme Court steps in to save us.

No, it's really not. Rolling over like a dog is bullshit. Time to fight

So in other words, let Republicans maintain control of the House for another 2 years after picking up 5 extra seats in Texas due to their gerrymander?

Or we fight fire with fire, get a Dem majority and pass a national ban on gerrymandering and draw fair districts (un-tilt like Michigan)

How do you propose Virginia un-tilts Texas?

I'm very confused by this statement considering Republicans titled the field. You're saying that Dems are just supposed to accept it?

Listen to this story from Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse, breaking the it down like no other.

Trump is extracting money from families’ budgets and pumping it to his fossil fuel donors.

Thank you Senator πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Yeah, that's not a straw man. You're clueless and clearly mentally unwell

I think I added clarification under 2 comments and you are now ensenuating that I targeted women with those? I didn't look twice at the poster, just the comment. You need more help than I thought. My God lady, get a grip.

I have not downplayed rape in the slightest. You seem to have a problem with reading comprehension and understanding a point that has absolutely doing to do with this narrative you've crafted in your own head. With the utmost disrespect, fuck off.

Honestly, what are you even talking about? You are going so far outside the bounds of my literal typed words that I can't follow anymore.

You'd rather engage in hysterics and put words in my mouth than have an actual conversation. Please post my quotes "diminishing women's horror" and I will repent

Per your profile, you're a journalist. Truthful reporting should be important to you rather than defending a sensationalized headline.

Yes, I do think what you're doing here is a problem. Facts matter, and your actual opposition (not me, despite your combativness) will jump all over that point.

This is a nonsensical response to my statement. Never downplayed rape or cast any blame on women.

You can call it a problem while also not misleading on the scale and scope of a so called "rape academy"

That's not the article title. The OP misled in his post. There were 62M visits to a porn site with this type of content. Very different than 62M men attending a "rape academy".

It's not 62M men. It's 62M website hits

Hey now, don't draw any premature conclusions

Interesting, thanks. I've only been following casually for about 5 years, but this is the first time I've seen a home/away matchup referred to as a tie.

I haven't redeemed anything yet. I think when the time comes I will just make the purchases and use the points as a statement credit. Might get more bang for your buck in the rewards portal but I don't care to use those either.

We got a points card 3 years ago and use it for expenses then pay off monthly. Currently sitting on about $4000 that we'll use on a vacation. You don't have to go crazy with different cards/pointsmaxxing. Free money on expenses we incurred regardless.
