Custard's Last Flan?

It could easily be better located, but they want the cheapest and most profitable solution for them....regardless of cost for us all. I am happy with the nice to wind, but it can't be at any cost....profit just come 3rd to suitable location and equitability of community benefit.

How much of new wind power is lining the pockets of profiteers?! The push for wind can't be used to ride roughshod over communities....destroying special marine areas, precious wilderness, ancient landscapes and tourism. Look at the state of the proposed N4 in Lewis.

Similarly, the N4 wind farm being rammed through in the west coast of Lewis is ill thought out. Companies being able to exploit our precious wild places to shore up their bottom line is grotesque. There are much better sites for it, but apparently profitability of Canadian company is more important.

Continuity Tories, further entrenching power and wealth for the few. Arming genocide, starving kids, refusing to tax billionaires, freezing pensioners. It's just constant lies and intransigence across all policy. From Scotland, it's even more obvious and grotesque. 🀒

Not really....more that it gives the whole game away. Labour are corrupt, top to bottom.

Starmer's foreign policy lies in tatters this evening. No one is interested in him being a "bridge" between Europe and a bullying extortionist who is in Putin's pocket and cannot be relied upon.

Anas Sarwar says Scottish Labour 'wouldn't support GRR now' in screeching U-turn ANAS Sarwar has said Scottish Labour "regrets" supporting the Gender Recognition Reform ...

Instead of trying to save the jobs of Grangemouth workers, fighting for compensation for Waspi women, or demanding Starmer keep Labour's promise to reduce fuel bills, Anas Sarwar goes - Hey! the reason we're unpopular is that we're not stoking up culture wars.

I am beyond disgusted at the Labour party trying to adopt policies designed to appeal to Reform leaning voters. You can never succeed in placating hard right English nationalism because it holds grievances against imaginary enemies. All you do is pollute the entirety of politics for everyone.
