Lute would fold her arms over her chest as she let out a sigh at Jasmine’s words. She then looked at the dummy.

“For now. I will be teaching you hand to hand combat. Show me your hardest punch.”

She told her, pointing to the dummy. She needed to see what she was working with.

She felt even more infuriated at his words, but… He wasn’t wrong. Even she knew that deep down. She clenched her fists, before relaxing them at her sides.

“If you have something to say.. Say. Or get out of my sight.”

She would stop for a moment after she kicked down a training dummy. She turned to the woman, her eyes narrowed.

“How’d you get here?”

She wasn’t sure how these people were getting in. Her eyes eyed the tea and crisps though.

The Exorcist would once again turn to Jasmine, raising a brow at her. She’d rather keep focusing on her own training, but… Jasmine is right.

“I guess I have no choice. I can’t have you going and getting yourself hurt, or worse.”

She gestured for her to stand in front of the dummy.

Lute folded her arms over her chest, her eyes stayed sharply on him.

“I don’t need to be at the top to cut you down, pest.”

She hissed.

As nice as that sounded, Lute was stubborn as hell. She immediately shook her head.

“I’ll pass. There’s still more to do.”

She walked over to the training dummy and started to pick it back up. By the look of the dummy, she’s been beating into it for awhile…

She sharply turned and glared at him. She certainly wasn’t happy to see this one.

“Bold of you to even show your face to me.”

She froze for a moment… Now that she thought of it, she didn’t remember the last time she did something… For herself.

“I do. With how things are now however, I cannot afford to let my guard down…”

She couldn’t afford to lose anyone else…

She would kick one finally kick to the training dummy, sending it flying across the room. She turned to Jasmine.

“As of now? No. That would be idiotic. I just need to be prepared… For anything.”

She sighed, and folded her arms.

She didn’t even bother to fully look at Jasmine. She was still laying hit after hit into the dummy with her fists.

“Training. What does it look like?”

She sounded a bit out of breath, but she wasn’t stopping anytime soon.

It had been awhile since everything. Lute has been training nonstop. Her limbs were aching, but she didn’t stop!

She needed to be prepared, be ready.

— Ever since Adam’s death, she’s been more strict on the other exorcists. Making sure they train well, but also making sure they stay safe. She already lost Adam, she’s not losing anyone else.

— The members of the exorcists are family to her. Even if she isn’t the best at showing it. She cares.
