I think BlueSky is seizing up again. The picture isn’t loading. I waited a few minutes, came back, still not loading. Not your fault.

Only way I see exclusives pop again in the far flung future would be some influencers bring it up and causes panic buying until the older or autistic collectors point out the pattern and it collapses.

Certain artists will hold value 20 years from now and I have no idea who they will be but I can’t wait to find out.

You do it like how I do it. Most exclusive covers get forgotten about after a few years. I generally stay away from exclusives unless it turns out to be a first cover appearance. Even then, how many collectors view exclusives as genuine authentic comics vs inauthentic manufactured low print runs?

Giant monsters and space robots fighting across time, written by Ram V. It was really really good! After the first issue, I got variants for the subsequent issues and got lucky with this one.

Yeah. I don’t think I own any exclusives. Feels like it’s fan art if it doesn’t come from the publishing company. Every time I see exclusives in stores, they’re almost always going for less than they did on week 1. After Acetate-Gate, who can trust exclusives anymore?

Funny thing was, Adam and Dave were contemporaries! Matt Baker influences both and Adam & Dave were sort of learning from each other. Dave Stevens didn’t even bother going to school for traditional art until the early 2000’s, very late for him. Just shows: it’s never too late to start learning.
