Or what about grandfathering in accounts that have been in good standing over X years?
And determining that by setting a cut-off date to grandfather in established accounts?
Like those created before spikes in mass-account opening or prior to LLMs becoming widely available?

The Fall Is All There Is
For Indie April, I’m sharing a few of my favorite indie reads. Next up: The Fall Is All There Is by @cmcaplanwrites.bsky.social
This book is wild, violent, deeply inventive, and exploding with vibrant characters. One of my all time favorites.
🥺🐍 what a darlin'!!!!
:( what the $%#@
Why generative AI doesn’t belong in crafting/handmade spaces We’re going to use a plot point in Schitt’s Creek for this example... You may be familiar with it! A photograph of Alexis Rose saying "Ew, David no!"
Why generative AI doesn’t belong in crafting/handmade spaces Later in the television series Schitt’s Creek (S5 Ep10), main character David Rose decides to open an apothecary called “Rose Apothecary.” (Photo of David Rose) He hand curates and selects handmade, high quality items made by small business owners he knows he can trust. (Photo of Rose Apothecary building) It is an adorable addition to an otherwise run-down town, and it does well! High quality, handmade items sell at a premium
Why generative AI doesn’t belong in crafting/handmade spaces During a local small business event in town in which he is representing Rose Apothecary, he notices a former business partner who has set up a table not far from him. (Photo of David and Stevie at the event) She and her business partner, who looks suspiciously like David himself, are selling “hand curated, hand made” lotions, creams, etc, just like Rose Apothecary. (Photo of Antonio and Wendy at the event) However, they are selling them much, much cheaper, undercutting David. It later turns out that they are purchasing cheap manufactured goods and relabeling them to make them seem hand crafted/small batch.
Why generative AI doesn’t belong in crafting/handmade spaces This is exactly what generative AI, whether used in whole or part does when placed in a handmade space. It devalues artisans who have spent a lot of time, money, and effort making something good by creating a “rip-off” product that sells for cheaper. Even if you are “only” using generative AI for labels or logos, even having just that reduces trust in all of the vendors around you for anyone who has a keen eye to AI generated assets. This destabilizes trust in the entire collective of artisans, because if one vendor is getting away with using gen AI, then who else is?
Today I'm making a presentation and this is part of it
Depends on the album for me. Big fan of the White Album--Blackbird is one of my fav songs. But a lot of their work is just meh.
A shoe with jeans buttons and string to wrap around the buttons to tighten the shoe.
A shoe with a leather cord wrapping around a wood toggle button. The shoe is on a orange tablecloth
My friend is having a bachelorette party at a medieval faire and (in true nerd fashion) we are supposed to go in some sort of costume.
I decided to try to make an iron-age celt costume(yeah, i know its the wrong era), but on a tight budget. So I'm cheating […]

Somehow I knew this was you before I even saw who posted this. 😂😂😂 Looks great!
I had to give up my physical library of films because I was moving a lot when I was younger and couldn't afford a moving truck, etc--it's only now years later that I'm building it back up bc my life is stable rn. idk i feel like people just like to gripe to feel superior. all this to say, i feel ya.
Vinyl is expensiiiveee, can take up a lot of space, and can get very heavy! I switched to youtube music to get away from spotify but I still have to use the latter to find music I can't seem to remember on yt. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. People can be butts. :[
I'm wondering if they're going to back down due to all the complaints pouring in. We'll see.
Have you thought of using itch.io? Kobo? I'm sorry you're struggling--it's a friggin' mess out here. :(
lmao!!! god i can't wait. i just beat DS1 but godDAMN the ending is so long and forever and... also i'd still like to do more delivering before i pop into 2.
but yeah also crying. lolol. so good.
😅😂 noooo
sigh. :') back to work.
2 is the biggest rub.
You don’t think tech bros will be willing to risk spending $12 to keep their slop up?
This is going to punish actual creators a helluva lot more than scam farms.
Indie pubs strength has always been its ability to serve small niches. This is antithetical to that purpose.
No self pub/indie author I know has made $100 on d2d. Not even $12. This is basically just draining money from their account. Just another "subscription" like fee to be another anchor in the wallet.
It feels good to get things done.
Even very basic self care.
Anyone up for reggae fusion?
