Trump Appointed Prosecutor Quits In Defiance Of His Corruption Read her bombshell resignation letter.

This wasn’t some liberal holdover. This wasn’t a career bureaucrat. This was someone Trump’s team installed. And even she couldn’t stomach what they were doing. She wasn’t alone. Five more federal prosecutors resigned in protest. Bless their courage!

"Some believe it
is only great power
that can hold evil in

what I have found. It
is the small everyday
deeds of ordinary folk
that keep the darkness
at bay. Small acts of
kindness and love.'

The Money Printers | Dave Denison Ordinary Americans live in a world of limits. They assume the government will eventually have to balance its budget just like they do.

I somehow missed this incredible piece by @daveadenison.bsky.social when it came out in 2020. thebaffler.com/salvos/the-m...

Feels like we all need to add as much pro-social, Mr Rogers like activity as possible just as a homeostatic response to all the ambient evil floating around right now.

Anyway I just signed up to read with little kids on Wednesday mornings before work.

👇🏻 I see people are still doom reporting the nat’l debt. The ‘debt’ isn’t a debt at all, of course. It’s simply a record of the Govt’s net spend INTO the private sector above taxing OUT. As fiat currency govts freely create their own currency, it never needs be paid back.

It's interesting that just about anything is antisemitism, but doing Nazi Salutes live on national television isn't.

A spiral galaxy. It has a bright core with light spilling out. Its disk holds thick clumps of dark reddish dust, which swirls around the galaxy following its rotation. Brighter and hotter stars, shown in blue, speckle parts of the disk. A halo of faint gas wraps around the galaxy, extending beyond the edges of the image.

A small grouping of large stars shines brightly with diffraction spikes, against a background full of smaller stars, glowing reddish and blue gas, and dark dust.

Intricate clouds of gas and dust fill the image. Dark brown dust is concentrated on the left side of the image, along with the lower portions of the rest of the view. Glowing green and blue gas fills the rest of the image, with pink stars visible throughout.
