Everyone inevitably encounters a potential tipping point in their relationship / marriage. A moment of contention. An impasse. A thing that you’ll never see eye to eye on, that may cause ripples for the rest of your lives. Will you survive it? Or is it a bridge too far?
Wish me luck.

No universe or timeline exists with “the collaborative album of original music & upcoming tour by the Avett Brothers & Mike Patton” on my bingo card.
I friggin’ love these kinds of surprises.
😳🤘🏼🔥
UM, WAT?
Current situation: Whilst at Brooklyn Brewery, I had to hit their “from the cellar” section…just had a bottle of the Black Ops Four Roses poured for me.
Couldn’t help myself. So glorious. CHEERS!
TONIGHT!! Playing another round of The Pogues with the fantastic folks in Sickbed of Cú Chulainn, as we share the stage with the always-fabulous Turpentiners! Music starts at 8pm, only $10 at the door. Join us for fun music & stellar cocktails at Poetry Lounge!!
Last caveat: ALL of the above is solely from the perspective of a hiker. I can’t speak to any aspects of these apps that are uniquely geared towards runners. I don’t run unless something’s chasing me. 😘
All that said, I’ve thought about giving AllTrails+ a try for a year, just to see how it compares. On paper, it seem like AllTrails has caught up to (if not surpassed) a lot of what Maps 3D Pro does. I just don’t know if it warrants paying a yearly fee to maintain your usage.
Some other differences:
• Maps 3D Pro is a one-time app purchase, and not a subscription charge.
• Maps 3D Pro collects absolutely zero data from you.
I DO like the route-sharing & reviewing social aspect of AllTrails. The free version lets me peruse, & I use it for trail finding when I’m planning a trip. As a workaround, I then download those GPX route files from AllTrails (or any other hiking route source) & import them into Maps 3D Pro.
I’ve been using Maps 3D Pro for 8 years now, & love it. Based out of Germany, their app was IMO so far ahead of other hiking apps at the time. Having 3D sat imaging stored offline was critical (Canadian Rockies) & back then AllTrails didn’t offer that.

Tallying it up in the replies….
It actually said “Premium Hardwood”, but I’m willing to adapt.
