News used to be better

finding peace in nature these last few weeks has been the most rejuvenating experience for my mind and body 🙏🏼

being in nature for 5 days, completely removed from my normal environment, has been the most rejuvenating and healing experience that i’ve needed for so long.

what’s also nice is that i’ve started to build community at my local game store with fellow queer nerds over Magic the Gathering game nights 1-2 evenings a week after work. to have a spot to meet like-minded people every week has been such a game changer for my mental health.

this year may have been hard but with the spring season and a new job i’m actually excited for on the horizon, i can’t help but think this may actually be a great year :,)

the juxtaposition of music for me this week is jumping between Hilary Duff’s new album, which is shockingly immaculate bedroom pop, and incredibly sad and beautiful Hikaru Utada bangers.

so happy to be replaying the best game ever again

playing this game for my first time ever, with full voice acting, no less, has been a magical experience so far.

Final Fantasy Tactics expertly drops little nuggets about the truths of living in a corrupt government structure and why it’s important to stand up for and with your fellow community.

it may sound cheesy but some of these quick moments have gotten little tears out of me.
