I made this silly little birthday card for my mom in under an hour. I don’t ever use colored pencil, but I didn’t have time to wait for paint to dry. She said she didn’t need any cards this year. I think she’ll make an exception for this one.

Another watercolor. Twice the size of the last. The skill is better but the face is still off. I’ll try, try, try again.

My Sim painted for a day straight and created several masterpieces. I painted through the entirety of “Hamilton”, and only made a tiny watercolor.

Whenever I start doing teeny detail work I think I’ll fly through it. That’s never the case.

I hate when people say you were born with talent.
I didn't fly out of the womb with a tiny pencil in my hand. I mean, that would have been cool, albeit dangerous, but no, I was born without the pencil.
I had to spend years and years practicing to get where I am and I still have a lot to learn!

My work day started with explaining who Tom Nook is, and why I relax by being indebted to a Tanuki.

Current painting I’m working on reminded me how much I love entirety of “Combat Rock”. Hearing this at age 16 altered my brain chemistry. It was a gateway to Manic Street Preachers, and from questioning the conservative culture I’d grown up around.
