which most of the time major IP holders like disney/sanrio/crunchyroll will not permiss; there are very limited groups that allow their ips to be made in to products by fan artists. example; hoyoverse or supergiant so long as you don't make over a certain threshold in income from said ip product.

I am not saying to completely nix doing any type of fan art works but to not make it your end all be all of your business and products.

Make it a small part of your business so you're not hurting later on if hit with an IP takedown/cease and desist. :)

Or else you won't be known for anything else and it will be a tragedy for you and yours if you get a store wide DCMA/IP take down by a lawyer from the IP holder. As seen with many people on Etsy already through AANI and on Instagram with an artist recently getting sued by the ip holder of Naruto.
