Weird weather. March too hot. Rainy April. It is soup weather. I had soup yesterday for lunch. Today I am in the greenhouse to be warm enough to eat frozen oat milk ice cream. I am here with my little seedlings that are waiting for warmer weather before getting planted.

I thought the plan was to wreck the usa. So this tracks.

I have had to slog through mailchimp contact management for hours today, and will do so again tomorrow. But…i got a bunch of piecing done on my next small quilt and will have it all sewn up by tomorrow evening.

Well I just finished another top and got it basted. Then I thought I’d better do the blue one first since it has been waiting so patiently all these months. I am trying to avoid the problem of the drawer of quilt tops! At my sew group, they all send theirs to the long armer.

I finally started quilting a quilt that I put together last year. I had to ponder how I wanted to quilt it, and then change my mind 400 times before going with my original, boring plan to do straight lines. It was either start it today or go to office supply store. Lol.

Birdsong

I sowed some zinnia seeds at lunch break. A Downy Woodpecker foraged nearby and checked out my activities for a short while. The White-crowned and Golden-crowned Sparrows are still here, filling the yard with birdsong.

Ha ha. Maybe.

My spot at the April meet the teacher event has been confirmed. I have my quilt samples ready and I need to print up some flyers and think about my table display. My presentation needs to be up to 3 mins. I am nervous just thinking about it.
