And yes, I'm on Medicaid. Colorado Medicaid is pretty awesome. It's VERY good. But it will simply never nationally because red states won't expand Medicaid which IMHO is a literal "crime against humanity" & killing people. Look at Texas for example who still hasn't expanded Medicaid. /11

Our elected officials are very much on the take when it comes to big pharma & big healthcare. They also own stock in such things too which is something which needs to be banned entirely. Elected officials have no business owning stock. That's a huge conflict of interest. /8

It's also a contributing factor why we can't have multi-payer healthcare. Health insurance companies need to be fully abolished entirely. They serve no purpose other than to bankrupt people, deny claims, many which are literally life saving, & to make a profit. We're seen as a commodity by them. /7

We live in a country where big healthcare & big pharma is completely entrenched in our government. We literally people on both sides, Democrats & Republicans who are literally taking money from these entities & that's a big contributing factor why we don't have single payer healthcare. /6

And the federal laws covering healthcare aren't written to help big pharma & big healthcare but rather they're written FOR THE PEOPLE. That is opposite of America where here the federal government can't even negotiate the prices of rX & ABX which is some serious predatory Capitalism. /5

Germany unlike America, has VERY strict laws when it comes to corporations, lobbyists, & money. They are WHAT the United States should be. There's no "Citizens United" & prescription drugs cost nearly nothing. In fact, when I'd go to the Apotheke (pharmacy) I NEVER paid for anything. ALL covered. /4

I could speak of it & my experiences for days & it's one of the things which "radicalized" me & become a Socialist.
