Getting started on my next piece. This is one of 8 parts.

My Three Kings are complete. At 10 hours each the 12” figures are my most complex build yet. I am super happy with them.

Almost done glazing my three wise men. Ten hours of glazing and one yet to go.

I think it was Betty White, who said something or other in an interview about yes she took nudes. Of course she did. She wanted to document this passing phase of beauty.

Works in progress. A friend commissioned me to do Three Kings. This has been a fun challenge. So far so good.

From the bottom of my heart, I thank you. My medically complex child thanks you. I wish more of your peers stood with you.

Today ( and yesterday) I am resisting through joy. A friend told me not to let them steal that. It was a brutal week. But once again I found peace and strength in my studio. I am so grateful for every moment I have in there.

May 14, 2021. Sometimes the break and the repair say it better. Somehow this one feels apropos again.
