It was our first activist meeting! Most of us had never seen each other before. We had presentations, discussions. The aim was to introduce the Initiative Mitmachen, the ENG-speaking working group, to get to know each other and to develop ideas.

How is it possible that whole societies and their members are not aware of very simple but big injustices, even though they are very much against their values?

I think it's mainly a question of habituation.

This is bad. Democracy must go global or it will disappear.
