Had my annual one on one meeting with my new supervisor and he said he’d like to see me go more above and beyond. I told him I don’t get paid to do that, but I would love to if they paid me above and beyond.

Anyway we have a follow up meeting next week.

It’s me thinking that I haven’t made any real progress on my comic but throughout the years I’ve drawn about 200 pages of it (a lot of the pages scrapped in self editing) so at the very least I’m working hard at my craft.

American comics will have a guy who can fly around and punch things really hard while manga will have a character who’s power is that he can summon a magic slot machine that can either nuke an entire city, or turn you into a mozzarella stick depending on what the slots land on.

Yeah it’s a really dumb criticism that pops up every now and then

I hate the “Omg where are their organs” criticism in art that is obviously intended to be highly stylized.

It’s 2025, if the art for the Kickstarter isn’t already done or almost done don’t launch the project and definitely don’t back it.

It is perfectly acceptable to begin a sentence with ‘and.’ 

And it’s equally acceptable to begin a sentence with ‘but’ or ‘or.’
