Just the funniest thing in the world.

This complaint long preceded his victory. No one could work out what he was *for* except for sounding serious and representing a kind of high-status 90s liberal progressivism. He doesn't appear to have a mission and doesn't seem to think he needs one.
I know quite a lot of squidgy leftie types - they have badges etc. - and it's interesting, sometimes, when you are (one is) unapologetically John Bull-ish how positively that's received, provided you're not oafish. Dom Sandbrook style, I suppose.
Oh yeah know consequences? Name three.
I knew a guy who went to a castle once and he said it was quite tiring and he was thirsty so you've done the smart thing.
Trump is learning why Ross, the largest friend, does not simply eat the other five.
'Unusual' can be fascinating. 'Startling' can be energising.
'Weird' is always tedious.
I work in adult social care and it's Elvis/early rock and roll. Beatles soon but not yet.
An aspect of the Mental Capacity Act which goes out of the window in this debate is it is not a requirement for everyone to agree a decision made by an adult makes sense to everyone else. People are free to make choices you disagree with. I suppose that's where I'm coming from.
I'm not impressed by the way many opposed to assisted dying have conducted themselves - accusations of naivety or indifference to cruelty, etc. I've heard all the arguments and I understand them, and I still think AS is a perfectly civilized suggestion. Fine to disagree, but debate like an adult.
I guess we disagree fundamentally on this, because choosing not to continue a life which you have zero chance of enjoying seems perfectly rational to me, however much it might be a choice I hope I never have to make.
A considered, long held view that you do not wish to continue living is not a delusion, it's a decision made by an adult. I don't know what your comfort has to do with it.
I just got 5/7 in the BBC's Quiz of the Week's News and I'm treated like a failure. Look at her giving it "Dur how do I even know anything?" and I think it's meant to be me. I'm not that bad, okay?
I love how niche this lie is.
"I met the bassist from the Red Hot Chili Peppers the other day."
"Flea?"
"No he seemed perfectly nice ['flee']."
I'd hate to get all Derek Guy about it but that suit's cut is hideous.
Surely someone would have pointed that out at the time?
Because there's a war going on I will be referring to miles or kilometres as 'clicks.' I can't be arsed to find out which one it is because that's not the point.
This is not forgiveness, simply explanation.
To anyone wondering what's going on: "I a' taller!"
No headline, white text on dark background, centred like it's a menu. Absolute nightmare.
I work in corporate comms (post journalism) and it's a plague. I think people think it makes them seem insightful.
It totally does!
