Europe on edge: Macron calls Russia a ‘threat’ as EU races toward massive rearmament The European Union is making rearmament its priority to counter the menace of a bellicose Russia and an unfriendly United States under President Donald Trump.

Between defense funds and capability there is strategy and organization, and Europe on its own has neither. Europe thus needs time and continued, if difficult, partnership with the United States. My take below.
