So really, what happened is we all paid a one time tax. With the money going to importers. So happy we could help them out.

Almost done with 2nd draft of Double Date. It has been surprising how smoothly things went. I don’t know why, but for some reason this series has been easier for me than my SHEPHERDS trilogy.
Is this something other #authors also experience? Do some books just “write” easier than others for you?

With recent changes to Draft2Digital pricing, I'll probably not be adding more books there and will instead close out my account. I'll setup a Kobo account so I can offer ebooks outside Amazon's system, but my paperbacks may become an Amazon exclusive.

What’s your go to #writing music?
For me it’s Auto Rock by Mogwai.
I’ve easily listened to it a thousand times while working on THE LAST SHEPHERD trilogy. Any time I hit a wall, I’d fire up the song on full blast and listen to it on repeat until the solution came to me. #indieauthor

Spent this weekend cleaning up my first draft of Vampire Detective Agency: Double Date. Came across a great line that gets to the heart of the banter #booksky should expect:
He couldn’t help but quip, “You know a dry cleaning bill is a vampire’s biggest expense.”

Doing my morning check in with my #author accounts, and I noticed that The Heart of Lightspeed (my sci-fi debut) remains my best reviewed book. This remains surprising to me as it is certainly not my best work. Just goes to show how readers react is unpredictable and out of our control. #booksky

In an american city, lots of people who didn’t commit any crimes are still afraid to *step outside* thinking an armed masked agent could be still right around the corner
To step outside. In the nominal land of the free
4) Formatting Vampire Detective Agency for wide paperback release on Draft2Digital. 5) Continue 2nd draft edits on VDA: Double Date. 6) Social media/advertising post drafting.
That’s my to do list anyway.
