Same goes for govt buildings and homes. All art is political but you usually don't live in it.
The careless and increasingly corporate way modern structures are designed and built says something about how our society is supposed to live (which isn't a new dynamic, but it certainly isn't improving)

yup. although not all the social stuff was cool per se, it was always in there. You can't design a building without making assumptions about how people are supposed to use it. The design of an office says something about how office workers are supposed to produce stuff and interact with each other.
Honestly, I'm probably more passionate about political science and history, but buildings do be really really cool.
Practically speaking it's about the history of architecture and how buildings are designed.
Theoretically speaking it's understanding how people interact the built environment, and designing things that tell a story about how people should live.
Laughs at you in social sciences (actually I majored in architectural studies but shhh)
Take care enjoy your rest man! Good luck with your thesis.

I did finish up my first sculpture of 2026. Some times I can only help things by bringing joy to folks.
So have a squish of beasts!
Thank you ^^
That annoyed/concerned "unhand me human" is definitely part of my inspiration

An unlucky lizzer getting picked up and examined by a custodian.
The custodian is just curious! They’ll be fine… Probably
Indeed!
They aren’t! They‘re an original species that belongs to my worldbuilding project “The Shell”.
They’re basically shucked mollusks stuck in robotic suits, tasked with maintaining the Shell’s decaying infrastructure.

Been getting to hang with @caba111.bsky.social and some of their friends lately, and he made the TERRIBLE mistake of letting me draft up a Ruby lizard to stealthily sneak into their setting, The Shell!
He works as a courier and loves building little models and buying junk food! <3
A bit of a fan concept for @caba111.bsky.social's setting, The Shell.
A band of rejects from the Temple States and Duhr, and a few far flung heartlanders, cross the Ceramic desert in search of morally dubious but financially beneficial work for whomever will give them a meal and a chance

Yess, good stuff! I wish non-SO falcon was more viable.
procreate is def well designed, but the thing about CSP is you don't have to throw all the intuition and know-how from using the software on desktop out the window.
The subscription absolutely sucks. They know how much i'll pay to be able to open the same comic files between devices.
Yup! They're like guinea pig size. Maybe a little smaller.
Procreate does get easier. I still pay for iPad CSP tho. Extremely convenient to be able to work on the same files between my desktop and my iPad.
I have two short WIP comics and I'm determined to finish at least one of them. Would you be more excited to see...
A.) family culture lizzer explaining her beliefs to a Duhrish guy
B.) an accident in a lab on the edge of the Kiss...
Thank you! Glad you like them
