Also released today is a free Minecraft Demo! Distributed by PCGamer, it lets people dip their toes into Minecraft in the now-iconic "glacier" seed for 90 minutes. It's downloadable now, but will be physically released in CD form for PCGamer's June edition.

Today, almost half a year after they first started using the building, Mojang's office is complete! The final additions were an interior and exterior sign, replacing the paper one taped to the front door.
Despite this, Mojang is apparently "sort of" outgrowing the office already!

Today, finishing touches on Mojang's office continue, and orange appears to be the new off-white. Everything from the new fridge to the new front sign has the same bright orange color as the logo.

In update news, Beta 1.5 will be adding weather next week! Rain was initially worked on way back in Survival Test, but now there will be a comprehensive weather system that has effects on the world.
Other potential features include pistons from the piston mod, and combat-related changes.

Today, after almost 2 years of development, Minecraft gets a definitive release date: 11/11/11! The prestigious date will be shared with other releases, including the highly-anticipated Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. For Minecraft, it'll be mostly symbolic due to the steady nature of updates.
