Been awhile! I’ve been focusing on my life outside of social media for the most part, in addition to trying out a healthier lifestyle. I’ve lost around 30lbs since the end of February, and my goal is to hit under 200lbs! Feeling better in my body has been so rewarding!

My first topic was of Chumash culture, a tribe that my mom’s family was a part of. I learned the word ‘Aqi, their word for a third gender. In their society, these were amab people who dressed and lived socially as women!
I decided yesterday that instead of doomscrolling, I’m going to give my attention to research topics I think of. Better to learn than constantly doom and gloom.
