Yeah, good buy-low in redraft, IMO, too.

Jesse Scholtens is going to get two extra earned runs because Junior Caminero forgot how many outs there are. Big ERA is a lie.
Nice to see Jac Caglianone get on the HR board. Maybe this will get him rolling - I saw him getting dropped in some leagues over the weekend.
Thanks, it should be updated now.
Everyone aspires to avoid being a main character on social media, but do you aspire to pick up the Main Character in FAAB in a given week? My Week 3 FAAB Review on @rotowire.bsky.social : www.rotowire.com/baseball/art...
I agree. If you ever read WiseGuy Baseball by Gene McCaffrey, it used to drive him crazy seeing LH's get shoehorned into the "... can't hit lefties, let's not let them ever face a lefty ..." logic.
I didn't even notice Grichuk, I was fixated on why not using Rice at catcher! Yeah, this is an "interesting" roster construction to say the least.
- Rice hasn't caught once yet this season. Maybe give Austin Wells a night off?
- Kikuchi had a .140 point RH/LH split.
- The Angels are rolling with another LH in Detmers tomorrow. Buckle up.
A few reactions to the #Yankees sitting Ben Rice tonight against lefty Yusei Kikuchi tonight:
- Platoons are as old as baseball existed. This isn't "modern analytics."
- Rice had a .752 OPS against LH's last year - not helpless.
- Goldy was better still though - .981.
So the InsideEdge matchup score surprisingly suggested Senga and Soriano as I mentioned on today's RotoWire SXM show. Amazing.

Brady Singer was pitching well and in the fourth inning with two outs vs the Rockies when the trainer had to go to the mound. Looked like something was wrong with one of Singer’s fingers. #reds
Yikes, what a horrible penalty by Salah. I suppose it was a "ball don't lie" sort of moment, though. Not sure that penalty call was solid.
Hang in there Chris - hope everything turns out ok!

#reds news: Francona said that Burns, Lowder and Williamson all made the team. With not be a six man rotation but some sort of tandem situation among the three will be worked out on a short term basis. More to come.
Also told they’re on the team were Phillips and Benson.
Terry Francona said the Reds will start the season with 6 starters — all three of Lowder, Burns, Williamson will break camp with the team

The draft isn’t over yet! Plenty of White Sox available still in this range.
#TGFBI26
22.323 - Kyle Harrison. I'm slowly buying into the notion that the Brewers' special sauce will work with Harrison.
Mike Burrows has thrown 12.2 scoreless innings to open Grapefruit League play. He's struck out 15, walked six and surrendered six hits. Burrows threw 77 pitches tonight across four innings.
#TGFBI26
21.308 - Matt Wallner. I'm chasing power a little bit in this draft, and chasing outfielders for the last open hitting spots on my roster. I'll move Burleson to CR and grab another OF or CR for one of my reserve spots.
#TGFBI26
20.293 - Ian Seymour. Frequently I've been taking [Name of other SP fighting for a rotation spot redacted here] in this spot, but I decided to switch it up with Seymour this time. Call it recency bias, or call it a feeling that I'd be upset if I didn't get him later.
#TGFBI26
19.278 - Kodai Senga. I'm encouraged by the reports in increased velocity for Senga, though I acknowledge that this could still go sideways. Unfortunately it cost me three subsequent targets for my last active hitter spot.
Yeah, he pairs with my roster pretty well, after reaching a bit on McGonigle.
#TGFBI26
18.263 - Mickey Moniak. Were Moniak's gains in his K-rate and aEV for real? It's worth a pick in the 260's to find out, especially if the Rockies' offense improves even a little bit to help his counting stats.
