I was going to post this earlier but I will always associate it with the bad Stuart Hall saying it about Danny Mills on Final Score and thought better of it.
I'm more flattered at being called a useless kid tbh
Yersssss, a bad review from an allmusic troll.
I initially thought "they're some big books!"
I'm so proud of this, and can't believe it's finally out there! Dig in.
No wonder I felt excluded by Balsom's Three Wales model. No 'Granadaland Wales'.
We had a separate aerial for that.

Paul Ryder apparently wanted to talk about bass amps, the pseudo-intellectual that he was.
Classic pseudo-intellectual bassist chat
The headline takes a turn if you assume (as i do) that Moz uses 'letting off' for farting.
Ah great, I've got a new extension lead that needs some identification aids adding to it

Well look at this (also listen to it)
You learn something new every day! My law exam was apparently so bad they decided to pretend I hadn't even turned up. I want that hour back WJEC.
The eighties were a wild time for unexpected collaborations!
This reminds me of reading an interview with Nathan East in Bassist or something as a teen (i thought you had to read these!) where he talked about Phil Collins playing McCartney-esque basslines on his demos and thinking 'how can Phil Collins possibly play the bass, he is a drummer'.
Ha i knew he couldn't really play the bass, the big fraud.
This is great, played it through twice tonight. It reminds me of early Verve (complimentary!)
Go for it
Also feeling very discombobulated that MBV have been playing live and I just decided not to go to any of the gigs, let alone see them repeatedly and/or spend all day on a Megabus
