I randomly started ticcing "abbondanza" and doing the 🤌 motion recently. I assumed it was my tourettes attempting to sound Italian by speaking gibberish. Two weeks later, my coworker heard me ticcing and asked "are you ticcing abundance in Italian?" Y'all my tourettes knows more languages than I do

I'm hosting session 0 with some of my roller derby teammates on Saturday. I have 2 days to read the 2024 books with my crippling dyslexia and I have not started yet 😂😭 I was not built for this

The league attempted to remove him but they said they couldnt force him to leave. I still got my full stipened check, apologies from both the officiating crew and event organizers. 2 months later I got a copy of their new policy and a thank you for helping them realize they needed to take action

I refused to ref a double header I traveled 9 hours for because an audience member was wearing a flag with the Confederate flag on it. I won't be playing or volunteering for any derby event that has fascist imagery, including pictures of the current POTUS

The problem is that dopamine is always one click away. My ADHD ass could NOT get off the computer

There's a line between socially inappropriate but kinda funny, and genuinely triggering to people regardless of my intent. My tics have been crossing that line recently. I just want to isolate until my tics pic smth else 😔😭

Sometimes I have sexual tics, I always try to redirect them so that I'm the subject. When I tic "can you put my dick in my ass" it's kinda funny, but when I tic "can I put my dick in your ass" it's understandably off putting, even if they know it's a tic. Lately I'm not always able to redirect them

Usually I find my tourettes pretty amusing. Lately the socially inappropriate part of my coprelalia has really been stepping it up. not only do I have *the* slur in my tic rotation, but 6 times this week I've had to walk/skate away from someone to avoid smacking them on the ass

I definitely got that impression reading the words "actually autistic" but from what I could find, it's not meant to exclude self diagnosed individuals. It's meant to distinguish autistic voices from organizations like autism speaks afaik
