I haven’t had a chance to watch it yet, though I’m not expecting to be surprised at much.

If a person cares about social/environmental/labor issues and tries to be thoughtful about where they spend their money, then which of the major retailers (Target, Walmart, Amazon, Fred Meyers, etc) would be considered the lesser evil to shop from?
Finally had some wet weather and a day I could take off of work to finally tackle this pile.
Watched Seven Samurai last week and was inspired to start collecting the Criterion Collection. I think the Hidden Fortress is a great place to begin my journey. Also couldn’t pass up on these five buck standards
1st Printing Hardcover copy of “Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great”
Disney Choose Your Own Adventure Book: Dumbo’s Circus
Decided to swing by the bins last night and am glad I did. The books have been pretty lackluster as of late, but this trip was worth the time as I found this hardcover first edition copy of “Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great” and a Disney Choose Your Own Adventure that I need for my collection.
Those are pretty sweet!
What stuff you looking for?
Hate it so much. I’ve told shops that don’t have binders or boxes for me to dog through that they’ve lost out on hundreds in sales because I am an impulse shopper. Make me peruse your online inventory and i usually have enough time to talk myself out of buying most of the cart.

My favorite things about flea markets is that you never know what you are going to find. i visited a dealer who I’d bought comics from in the past. I didn’t see much until i started to leave and spotted some promotional material. A closer look revealed this Who Framed Roger Rabbit presser!
Quick little bin trip to end my Friday scored me some nostalgia. Unfortunately they are beat up, but I couldn’t leave them behind.
Too real!
Our local school still shows it in high school. I believe. Or did up to a few years ago anyway
Playing the game of “down a half tank, do i fill up today at 4.79 or tomorrow when it may be more, or possibly less?”
Terrible news, much love and all the positive thoughts to the Hughes family

My kid waited until the last minute to finish his eagle scout requirements. So here I am today attempting my first 20 mile hike. wish me luck
Inspired by my find yesterday, I once again ventured into the dregs of the bins today and once again was I rewarded with some vintage treasures. M.U.S.C.L.E. Figs, a Knight Rider Rough Rider, and a cool Tomica die cast. Not bad for a couple bucks.
Quick bins stop tonight netted me this treasure. Bummed that it has a creased cover but was very happy to discover the Zaxxon poster was intact. It also had this cool color tuning insert inside. Not a bad side quest.
You gotta do what’s healthy for you. It can be hard finding a good balance. I work in my Tribal Government and all of the chaos can directly affect us, so I have to keep somewhat informed. But all the bullshit coming out of DC is so much that I need to filter to things that I can engage in.
Doh. Misspelled “imminent” and can’t edit the post. 🤦🏽
Oh well. I’ll just leave jt up as a testament to my poor editing.
What if Congress knows a nuclear strike is eminent and don’t want to be around for when a strike back occurs? So they go on recess in order to have an excuse to be away from DC.
I hate that I wake up to a world that puts these thoughts into my head.
Project Hail Mary was fun and in the running for my favorite film of 2026. Length felt a bit long but not so much that I was begging for the end. Will likely add it to my physical media library.
Crime 101 was a bit disappointing. Some decent sequences but it didn’t really come together IMHO
Shrek 2 is a big comfort watch for me. The Holding Out For a Hero sequence is probably one of my favorite pieces of cinema ever.
Peaky Blinders was fine. Felt like an extra long episode. Some of the better parts were spoiled by the numerous previews I was subjected to.
Haven’t used Letterbox at all this year, but I do enjoy sharing and seeing what other people have been watching. So here are my #LastFourWatched
What are yours?
Meanwhile, stuff like this keeps sneaking through while everyone is distracted by the purge. www.usda.gov/about-usda/n...
He is pretty amazing. Do need to find a light fixture for him at least.
Vintage ceramic Darth Vader lamp. Incomplete but in pretty nice condition
It’s been a minute since I’ve been able to hit the bins or a decent thrift store, so I decided to swing by today on the way home. Glad I did because I found this Thrift Score! Vintage ceramic Darth Vader lamp. Missing a bit but the body is in great shape. Need to find some replacement parts now.
