bad news for me, the guy who uses the world's biggest condom

In Portuguese the expression "Tenho pena" is usually translated as "I feel sorry" but literally means "I have sorrow".
It does not prevent the smartass reply. 🥲
None of the movies/shows in the MCU is 'critical' to understand new entries. They're all easy to understand. The main problem isn't homework, it's that they're ads for each other in a cynical, anti-art corporate transmedia model that devours smaller art, weakens workers, & strengthens monopolies.
The TTRPG "Primetime Adventures" has this as a game mechanism.
IIRC the players are actors on a TV show and there is no GM. The players can give each other tokens that represent the audience really enjoying something they did/said, which they can later use to get out of trouble.
Vamos estar presentes nos vários centros TUMO Portugal (Lisboa, Coimbra e Porto) para o Tech&Art Fest no dia 10 de Maio, entrada gratuita, apareçam! tafest.pt
I thinking the blocks one but it was all very silly, really.
It's not just the playtesting, some were derivative but they were missing the critical elements that make them work! The one with the color circles didn't give players a reason to lie to each other, for example.
As a game designer I was cackling. How was that supposed to work?
Then they changed the rules on the fly and ended up eliminating more contestants than they were supposed to. 🤦
Miette, her eyes enormous: You MODEL Miette?
Thank you! Other than Gigamic, this is very close to what I had in mind.
Thank you! They look very pretty and laborious to make.
Meanwhile the prototype I want to pitch is mostly painted wooden cubes! 😀
Oh jeez, that doesn't sound accessible at all.
...but now I'd like to see what they look like, to see if the hype is justified.
Thank you for the suggestions!
I'm pleased to confirm that Moon Child's OG dev, @seven.eurosky.social, is actually super based

Which hobby boardgames produce games with mainly wooden components?
Gigamic is the obvious one but there must be more.

Oh no no! The ones I was thinking about are more about trying to deduce missing information than judging people's intentions.
I get it! Still, if you're interested there are a few where you don't have to lie.
Bloodborne is still perfectly playable in 30 FPS. One of my favorite games, even!

Trent looks and sounds like he's having so much fun with this collaboration!
"I will face God and walk backwards into Hell'
Even if you're playing a role, it's you. But it's not just about the story you're creating together.
Playing the game keeps it relevant, introduces it to people and might result in selling more copies. How is that not complicit?
But I am not interested in discussing this further. Have a nice day!
Yes. Watching a movie is something you do passively. You don't affect it, it affects you.
When you play a game you play an active role. You're involved, immersed, part of it. The game would be different if you weren't there.

My least favorite is a tie between:
"...and I'm trying of pretending it's not."
and
the same sentence on all caps 6+ times.
Good luck! 😀
Right! Their whole thing is doing things in a non-traditional way so I imagine you'd have to fight most software in order to recreate their songs.
