My friend breeds and shows sheep, when she announced her engagement the pattern for this quilt appeared so it seemed appropriate to make it for her

Spinning guild today, good for a laugh. We helped a neighbour yesterday shift 2 ton of gravel, back is still in one piece, I took it very carefully & didn't overload the wheelbarrow.

Productive time on the allotment yesterday, cabbages netted against cabbage white 🦋, and an area of weedy grass covered to kill off grass etc, ready for planting next year

Morning all, real windy last night, so slept badly. Quilt class didn't happen, long story, but booked in for next month. Going to be a wet weekend so going to plant out broad beans and celeriac plants on the allotment, that way they will get a good watering in.
