Accountability for Sexual Assault shouldn't depend on who is in Congress.
Women need rights they can rely on. Sign for the recognition of the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) to ensure nationwide, permanent equality.

Because the Equal Rights Amendment is in the exact same place suffrage was then: Close enough, and still blocked.

When you sign the National Petition at Sign4ERA.org, you signify what should be obvious: Women deserve full constitutional equality. Follow www.drivingthevote.org

In 1916, two suffragists climbed into a bright gold Saxon motorcar called the Golden Flyer and drove 10,700 miles across America—because women couldn't vote and politicians kept stalling.

Four years later, women won the vote.

Now we're doing it again. Phoenix April 28, then San Diego, and North

203 Years, One College Student, and Why the ERA's 'Deadline' Is a Myth | Driving the Vote for Equality The 27th Amendment took 203 years and one stubborn student. The ERA opponents' deadline argument didn't stop Madison's amendment. It won't stop this one.

- but the ERA was given 7 years... what's up with that? 🤷🏾‍♀️ 🤷‍♀️

The 27th Amendment: James Madison's 1789 congressional pay amendment — which would prevent Congress from giving itself a mid-term pay raise — had been submitted to states for ratification and then simply forgotten, and revived in 1982.

No, the Constitution Does Not Guarantee Women Equal Rights. Here's the Proof. | Driving the Vote for Equality Most Americans, if asked whether the Constitution guarantees equal rights for women, would say “Yes”. They would be wrong.

That protection stands. 🏛️
Women need permanent protection.
Women need the ERA.

🚨 Women’s rights are under attack. The missing foundation? The Equal Rights Amendment.
Right now, laws that protect women from discrimination can be repealed by a simple majority in Congress.
But a constitutional amendment?#ProtectWomensRights ✊💜

The Amendment That's Already Been Ratified — So Why Isn't It Law? | Driving the Vote for Equality The ERA has been ratified. What it doesn't have is a Congress willing to say so out loud.

That is the ERA- stalled.
The arguable sticking point - a deadline which many argue has no basis or validity. But it is still holding the Equal Rights Amendment in limbo. The Solution: a resolution by Congress. Learn more and sign the petition. drivingthevote.org/news/the-ame... #ERANow

A constitutional puzzle that would stump most Americans: What if an amendment to the U.S. Constitution had already cleared every single legal hurdle — passed by Congress, ratified by 38 states, fully compliant with Article V — but still isn't recognized as the law of the land? #Sign4ERA

I never thought my daughters would have fewer rights than I did at their age, but the Dobbs decision proved women’s rights are provisional. If the Supreme Court can roll back constitutional protections for abortion, it can roll back laws protecting equality in the workplace or education. The ERA

A majority voted in favor but did not overcome a filibuster.

Once again (2026), legislation is pending in Congress to remove the deadline and acknowledge the ERA as ratified (H.J. Res 80 +S.J. Res 38). The House bill has 219 co-sponsors, more than enough to pass if the bill were brought to a vote.

"The House voted twice to remove the deadline and recognize the ERA as ratified. In 2023, I persuaded Majority Leader Schumer to allow a hearing in the Senate, followed by a vote on the floor.

🍪✨ Fresh batch: “ERA YES” (still warm… unlike Congress 👀)
This is your sweet reminder that the Equal Rights Amendment is still stalled—and still so necessary.
Right now, without the ERA, protections we count on can be challenged or even rolled back.

It's 2026—it's time to close the wage gap.
