Either the translator gave me a LOT of grace or my ramble writing style found its niche audience lol.

Maybe this explains why Dostoyevsky is going so hard for me at the moment. We like those rambles!

So I write sometimes and shared some of my scribbles on various websites under various names.

Either way, a few of my fan-stories go hard, especially my character studies šŸ˜‚. One of them even got a translation in Russian.

So I checked up on one and it was going stupid hard on a Russian site.

"I called my parents and said this has been the craziest pizza delivery ever. I left a pizza boy and came back a pizza man," Lemmer said.

Was going through old chats and found this incredible quote from a pizza guy who saved someone's life with CPR

Watching my biases being absolute green flags post their most viral career era, in a way their corporate marketing team could’ve never organically set up, is vindicating in many ways.

Makes me proud and gives me a dopamine hit like very long-term horse racing.

Intuition’s still got it, yeh!

My favourite bakery/cafĆ© here has closed down šŸ˜ā€¦. I’m so sad. Good cafĆ©s with the naturally perfect atmosphere are hard to come by.

Hi bsky, my friend Kuu said it was a fair question to ask whether doing a handstand would fertility max (aka, guarantee a baby being conveived).

My question is, what the f*ck and whether people agree that my question is more valid.

If nobody cares about you in that way or you’ve pushed them away, and/or if all your peers are equally glazed up, it might be harder to ground yourself again. Or, it’d take way more time.

I can see that could cause you to perpetuate it and lock into that hateful identity.

It’s even scarier when they have nobody around. Usually, when I feel a bit ā€œglazedā€, what gets me right out is hanging out with people I knew from before online even was something and who have always kept me accountable with care, like family and longtime friends.

Very true šŸ¤”. There are people who carry that ā€œdisengagement glazeā€, as I imagine it in my head, into irl. Not just with hatred, but also with general expectations. A bit related might be the ey-eye psychosis.

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

Agreed!! Can’t replace it!

Dude it’s always possible as long as we’re alive haha. I’ll need to go back to Europe sometimes to visit family. Might as well do a trip or something and visit my neighbours ;)!!

Irl that’s easily a psycho or something is terribly wrong. Online, there’s more of a chance they simply disengage like it’s a video game and expose their emotional immaturity faster.

That’s not to excuse them, rather I want to believe we can be better than we are. And to take them way less serious.

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

Hence my current idea, is that a lot of ā€œdislikeā€ online masks as ā€œhateā€ because it garners more engagement and attention. Thus an ego boost. But if you asked the person irl they’d just whistle about their day despite the damage they’ve caused.

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

It stands to reason that irl you wouldn’t be as abrasive as how a lot of online interactions tend to be. Things also would not escalate as quickly. There’s ofc the worry you’ll get punched in the head, but it’s also the senses grounding you in the reality of the other person.

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

Yes! I talked about a similar topic yesterday with a friend. My point was that I think online interactions naturally come with a degree of disengagement compared to irl. Even I’m guilty of it. Because we perceive everything with 2 senses max. Sight & audio. But irl it’s 4 or more senses.

Oh yeah! Fear of the unknown and blaming are actually really good points! šŸ¤”

Personally, it seems impossible to spend so much time and energy, aside from just carrying the feeling + interacting with people.

Although, I can see there might be people who are truly okay with being deeply hateful. Online, I think most are just deeply emotionally underdeveloped. šŸ¤”

1 week ago 1 0 1 0

I think this way because when I feel strong feelings, even intense dislike, it eats me up inside. Just the dissonance of feelings, cause I don’t want to be hateful, depletes all my energy and I get incredibly depressed & self-destructive out of general disappointment. No energy for online debates.

1 week ago 1 0 2 0

So I think it starts out as lowkey ā€œfunā€ and relief to them. Like bullying can be to some types of people.

But once they are forced to face it, or face the consequences of how people perceive them, it can get personal.

I have an inkling most ā€œhateā€ is usually just dislike + competitiveness/compulsion + pride = confidence. I’m not under the impression most really understand or care about the topic. They show too much energy for it. But it CAN snowball into actual ā€œhatredā€ when they’re ā€œlosingā€ or feel humiliation.
