Instead, I'm advocating for something more powerful: influential DEI initiatives. These are the ones that stick, that compound over time, that become part of your school's DNA.

I'm even suggesting we move away from "inspirational" ones like an inspiring keynote on equity in schools (and that comes from someone who is a big fan of delivering an inspiring keynote)

📚 Exciting news! We're thrilled to be working with @collegeofteaching.bsky.social & @Chiltern Learning Trust as part of @Mission44’s Diversity in Education Fund. Our consortium will be developing anti- racist practices in teacher training to pave the way for a more representative teaching workforce.

This doesn’t exactly sound like a ringing endorsement but that’s not how I took it! Actually this participant was naming the fact that she’s really excited about everything she is learning and she REALLY wants the senior leaders in the school to learn everything she is currently learning. #Luminary
