I found it to be a good way to do writing no one was gonna see or judge but that still filled the niche of getting me to write SOMETHING even if it was dumb and short. Helps break the cobwebs.

I ended up picking up a single player writing rpg up that I still play when I need to write something out of my head. It was called 1000-year-old Vampire but I also hear Village Witch is really good. You just end up writing a journal based on simple prompts and dice rolls.

Might I suggest something that worked for me?
