We seem to be saying this a lot lately in the UK, but I wonder what the orange man baby will do today when he wakes up?

You know you’re getting old when you see a summer festival poster and say, “Ooh look ABC, The Proclaimers, and Simple Minds. That looks fun.” Then think about sitting on the ground for hours and the site toilets, and think £120 for the privilege is steep.

Feeling smug. I scored 24 and 30 on Ken Bruce’s Popmaster competition today. Normally I’m lucky to get into the teens. I even got the two years right on the “what year were these records released” rounds!

Football. Why do we do it? Any football fan whose got the t-shirt, occasionally asks themselves why they do it. Whether it is throwing away 3-0 lead with five minutes to go, or unceremoniously being dumped out of a cup compe…

Supporting AFC Wimbledon at the moment is a stressful experience, yet yesterday's game was a sell out. So if as seems increasingly likely we are relegated, it's important to remember just why we go week after week.

It’s the reason why no one has been calling for JJ’s sacking. I’ve never known such a spate of injuries in such a short timeframe before.

What a great album.

Only one point in eight games. When was the last time we won anything? 😩

Yep. Thought Reeves had one of his better games, but only because we were playing a lot just in front of our area. The game wasn’t stretched until the second half. Bishop was awful and looks like any fight in him left weeks ago.

Are we?

We showed some real fight in that game, especially in the second half, but came away with nothing. With Exeter drawing we may as well go all out attack next week. Somehow I doubt our tactics or setup will change.

It certainly has a look of another ITV Digital about it.

Awesome support from the Dons fans in the first half. Keep it up. We’re still in this.

Stewart and Johnson starting is a positive with Foyo and Sasu on the bench. Still no Brown though.

Waking up to find out that former Don Jack Rudoni is a Premier League player next season. Let’s hope he does better than our last!

Talking to a Plymouth fan on the walk from the station. They’ve got some of their squad earning £10k a week. That is totally unsustainable.

He’s too lightweight, and we need him running into space behind the back four, not trying to hold the ball with his back to goal.

My thinking is Hackford offers nothing, so one of Foyo or Stewert would be a good replacement. Reeves is just negative. If Jennings is his replacement next season, why not start him now when we need something new.

I doubt we’ll see Lewis again, but hopeful Johnson will be back if not this Saturday then for the Wigan game. Stewart may as well start on Saturday, but somehow I feel JJ will bottle it.

Chapter 1 : Don’t start Hackford even if he’s your only fit front player.
Chapter 2: Even if you’re losing, leave a player up when defending a set piece.
Chapter 3: Start the likes of Jennings, Foyo, and Stewart who showed more endeavour in 15 minutes than those they replaced did in the previous 75.

I’m not giving up hope just yet. Our run in isn’t great, but then neither is Exeter’s. We may not score another goal, but if we can salvage a 0-0 somehow.

The key word is “personalised”. Does that mean each Jesus chats to you based on your demographics and interests? Hardly consistent theology if so.

Another point (or hopefully three) should see us over the line. I don’t expect it on Saturday or Wednesday, which makes the Burton game super important. I’m a glass half full guy, but it’s a testing time to be a Dons fan.
