Unpopular opinion:
Allowing Malen to go to Roma and taking Bailey back in exchange is the worst decision Emery has made as Villa manager… and could ultimately lead to his downfall. #avfc

Bet it was that physio who got hammered by the Holte 😆
In America you drop your kid off at school, get your brains blown out on the ride home, then the Vice President drops everything for a week to call you a terrorist, to slander your family, to protect the circumstances that led to your death so they can do it again. It is government by Alex Jones.
We will be lucky to see Elliot get off the bench on Sunday.
Well, Youri can't take them. He has to be in the middle, to head them over!!!
Unai, you’re the manager, the top man, it’s your job to make sure it doesn’t distract us. If Glasner, Howe and bloody Keith Andrews can, then so can you. #avfc
I dont mind him either. It's the 20m a season hes costing us in wages and amortisation when we are so restricted. Another injury riddled season, and we got to move him on.
Your forgetting about the fist pumps!!!
Yeah, I think that fair. But I can't see any realistic move unless it is to Saudi or Chelsea dropping money & exchange on Morg.
I think we are doing well shifting players, tbf. It's not easy moving deadwood. Do you still think a big name is going? Or are we past that now?
Defo needs to replace Asensio and Rashford. I would be happy with Buendia given another chance and then a Deadline day loan. Any of Garnacho, Jack, or Rashford.
I am desperately hoping Malen and Garcia work out. Otherwise, our foreign scouting department may as well not exist.
Also got Barkley. Now, if Ross was to move on, I could see Youri going no10 and Dougie next to Bouba.
Heart says, "Sign him". Head says we already have Onana sitting on the bench when Youri & Bouba are fit.
Absolutely, and I think we will achieve this. But we need to start making use of our younger players. Surely, at least one of Garcia/Enzo/Illing can start to contribute properly to the 1st team.
The SCR is a problem, but a big sale does raise the revenue and help with the wages, too. Add to that big earners who don't start slowly being replaced with young options. The good news is that awful 22/23 season drops off the PSR calculation. It's also not a bad thing to streamline the business.
If his return happens, it's not a deal we should rush into. Hopefully, we can do a reverse Coutinho off them towards the end of the window.
Can't decide. On field YES. Off field NO. It would get Villa Park buzzing to get him back. I think Ollie would score tons with him their. But you can't buy both Jack & Asensio as you need to put Rogers 10 with Jack LW
Yeah, I get that. But they are not the only ones who keep saying wages to turnover ratio.
It's almost like they didn't bother doing any research into it (what a surprise 🙄)
We can't replace him, but we can make the defence in front better.
When I look at this is obvious that the players that will leave are the high earners. I think it will be Emi, Bouba or Ollie, Digne, Bailey & Bunedia. There about 600k a week off the wage bill. Then replace with players on 50k a week tops.
I think we get linked with this guy every window 🤷♂️
I am constantly defending him, but we need better. That suicidal pass on Sunday will grate in my memory for a long time.
100% mate. Also, he has no idea how to adjust in a game to a 3 at the back. We need an out and out wingers to sit behind their WBs....but we are now selling the only one we have.
Haha, I can't argue with that. But any attacking RB makes it leaky. Personally, I move Pau on as well and get a stronger CB in (but that ain't happening)
Hope anyone in need or homeless sees this
Solution is sell Cash and bring in Mingueza. Then keep Kosta or Garcia as cover.
