Author Amy Tan's archive is coming to UC Berkeley The Bancroft Library will house the collection, which arrived in 62 boxes that include drafts of 'The Joy Luck Club' and other works.

UC Berkeley's Bancroft Library houses the collections of Gwendolyn Brooks, Joan Didion, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Thom Gunn, Jessica Hagedorn, Maxine Hong Kingston, and Mark Twain among many others. Now Amy Tan's papers will go there, 62 boxes worth.

I went olive picking yesterday. Amazing how the scrawny trees can produce so much luscious fruit. Best olive oil in the world when it's pressed.
