You’d think the possible loss of the Petrodollar system would have garnered more attention from Trump (esp. w everything he’s doing to get the $ replaced as the reserve currency) but it just goes to show that yes, he’s ignorant and stupid, but also personally very corrupt and not a big oil guy.
There’s something especially moving about a strong male voice and vibrato like: Ian Astbury, Layne Staley, Chris Cornell & Bruce Dickinson that I find particularly moving…in the way that no male voice covering Allison Kraus could compare.
I do not like the all female cover of End of the Road used in the Old Spice commercial…the thing that made that song so beautiful to me was the all male emotionality and harmonies of Boyz to Men…it’s kind of why I also prefer male covers of Hallelujah.

No one gets my support without a PROMISE of accountability and a restoration of the rule of law.
We would not have bombed boats in the Caribbean and toppled the Venezuelan regime. ICE would not have murdered two American citizens. We would not have shipped people to CECOT. We would not have launched an illegal war in Iran without congressional support or a case made to the public.
Waiting around to vote in 2028 is proving to be a huge shortcoming of our political system. I don’t know how to fix it but some sort of recall election possibility would be an improvement.
Tonight Trump will recycle his “2-3 week” timeline to manipulate the markets and will tell us it’ll all be neatly over. He’ll convince us that the objectives he never spelled out will all have been completed, just trust him.
