If you live in Virginia, tomorrow you have a huge opportunity to make it clear to the GOP that if they want to win, it won’t be by changing the rules and redrawing maps. At least, not without a fight. Vote YES on the redistricting vote, and push back!

Did they ever figure out why it took her nearly an hour longer to finish the marathon in space than in Houston?

Trump admits his "working class" moments for the cameras were all staged. He calls the photo ops "a little bit tacky" and "embarrassing” - which is ironic since Trump is so tacky and embarrassing all the time. All the rich do is lie to workers. That’s America.

And maybe just maybe we’ll vote out his congressional supporters? That move would allow us to get back to a slightly more normal government where Congress does its job using checks and balances that guide the president and his administrators to do theirs. 😅

And why couldn’t this be done decades ago? Could it be perhaps because the people of NYC and their living conditions didn’t register high enough on the former mayors’ agenda? And why was that? I have my thoughts but would really like to hear yours.

Suspect dead after 8 children killed, 2 women wounded in Louisiana shooting The suspect, who was the father of seven of the children, was killed after a vehicle chase, police said. The slain children were 3 to 11 years old, authorities said.

This "president" has said nothing-- NOTHING-- about eight kids killed in a mass shooting in Louisiana today. Ages range from 1 year to 14 years. Children.

And they rate not a single comment.

I detest that bucket of filth and the way he's lowered the bar for all.

Effective 2025 federal tax rates paid by these corporations:

Meta: 3.57%
General Motors: 3.09%
Amazon: 1.37%

This is what a rigged system looks like.

On just one night this week, Russia sent nearly 700 drones & dozens of missiles at Ukrainian civilians. In the 5th year of the war, aerial attacks on Ukrainian civilians have become even more intense & more frequent. Please join me in this campaign for air defense equipment. You can help save lives.

I pay $86/mo for WiFi from Xfinity now. My daughter pays less for fiber with AT&T but she lives in another town with more providers. We paid $300/mo for WiFi & phone plus cable with HBO. Just couldn’t afford it anymore.

Lucky you!!! I live in a smallish town of ~100,000. We don’t have fiber and not sure we’ll ever get. We’re likely stuck with Xfinity until the cows come home.

I have opted for no contract with Xfinity. Have had WiFi only for ~9 months and all is well for now. Expensive but no issues. My neighbor did a 2 year contract with them to lock in the price and ~4 months in they already upped his rate. Now he has to deal with them again. 😅

It measures up fine with respect to speed. But since there’s no competition here they do charge a lot.

Same here. FINALLY got rid of cable last year. But we’re stuck with Xfinity WiFi. They have a monopoly around here. 😩

You’re ready to be hooked up to fiber optic…how I envy you. 😅

Let’s face it. We all know that this old geezer, who declared bankruptcy 6 times, will never be presidential material. He was unqualified in his first term and he is still unqualified now. That, my Bluesky friends, is the reality we live in right now and should give everyone pause.

If I had any say at all it would be implemented immediately. My Congressman told me he’s been working on universal healthcare for 50 years. If we can get a 2/3 veto-proof majority in the House & Senate it can be done.

Yes, we are still making progress. Even with all the cuts in science funding. Can’t wait for this Administration to be voted out and funding to be restored and universal healthcare implemented.

Yep, I had smart speakers, thermostat, lights etc and decided to stop using all of it when my speaker & thermostat started talking to me unprompted. There’s just too much potential for surveillance. I’m now back to not having anything smart except my smartphone. And that’s enough.

CALIFORNIA GOVERNOR’S RACE: A Guide to the Candidates Following the wave of allegations against frontrunner Eric Swalwell, we decided to explain each candidate and their chances in the race.

California voters have a lot to think about right now. Who do we trust to lead our state? I’m not sure but I hope we can vote for someone who is actually qualified for the job.

Screenshotted excerpt from linked article reading as follows:

"In public, Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. has cultivated a reputation for care and caution. The papers reveal a different side of him. At a critical moment for the country and the court, the papers show, he acted as a bulldozer in pushing to stop Mr. Obama’s plan to address the global climate crisis.

When colleagues warned the chief justice that he was proposing an unprecedented move, he was dismissive. “I recognize that the posture of this stay request is not typical,” he wrote. But he argued that the Obama plan, which aimed to regulate coal-fired plants, was “the most expensive regulation ever imposed on the power sector,” and too big, costly and consequential for the court not to act immediately."

New York Times got receipts on John Roberts being like, 'I know this isn't how anything works, but a Democratic president is about to implement a policy!!'

a universal healthcare bill, and a regulatory AI bill, and a tax bill that doesn’t cut entitlements we paid for, and and and…there’s so much we could do if we voted for people who actually know how to govern.

The ICE bully tactics and name-calling this president utilizes do not resonate with most Americans. Moreover, at least IMO, a lot more people now realize that a good immigration policy would be of benefit to the US. Maybe once we toss Republicans to the side we can get an immigration bill done. The Kremlin has a target list of European companies. I’m hoping that these Russian threats will put fire in the belly of Europe to help Ukraine even more to rid themselves (both Ukraine and the rest of Europe) of the Russian menace once & for all. Unfortunately no one can rely on the US right now.
