Final FRCA written resit done. Time to relax. Here’s hoping for a pass and not another £660 wasted 🤞
still thinking about how my ST4 interview went today- not that I can change anything now. Really hoping I get an ST4 post this time round...
Well at least that’s over. Feels like a resit is inevitable (not like I haven’t already given the college enough money) but I did what I could. That Final FRCA CRQ paper though- what even was that?!!
it's taken me about 2 days to sort out all my application evidence paperwork but I think I've finally sorted it all. Here's hoping I get an interview and job offer🤞
Also to add I've previously made it to the ST4 interview stage twice with the current evidence I've uploaded and been deemed appointable (but no ST4 job) so the moving of goalposts each time I apply is really annoying.
And why am I doing all this for the slim chance of getting a ST4 NTN in the region I want to work in, when there is still a massive bottleneck in training.
They informed me of this @ 3pm today, the wkend before Xmas with a deadline of 14:40 on Mon 23/12 (!)Their own email even states the evidence I've already uploaded is sufficient. Of course I can't actually speak to anyone at ANRO about it...BECAUSE IT'S THE WEEKEND.
I'm just tired of all of this.
After yet another round of applying, a primary FRCA pass, CLTC certificate, stage 1 CT3 top up certificate, approval for reapplication certificate by the head of school and the dean, working as an SAS above the level of ST4- ANRO want yet another form before they approve my application
Rant about how useless ANRO are and the ST4 application process incoming. As someone who was released from training (struggled to pass the primary FRCA by the end of CT2), it's been demoralising and frustrating having to provide endless proof I'm now eligible for reapplication to ST4
So the U.K. General Medical Council has finally published responses to its consultation on Physician Associates. Bottom line: PAs overwhelmingly support what the GMC is doing, doctors and the public disagree. And link between data and GMC’s conclusions seems … shall we say … tenuous
It's that time of year where I submit another ST4 application...again.
I’ve been on twitter since 2009, but I think now’s the time to leave that place for good. Hello 🦋!!
