Maybe H taking the lead credit again means they'll do the crazy thing they do and write some ridiculous way that all of the stuff makes sense, but who knows.
It's part of why i'd love to see the process atm.
The urge within me to know how it's shaking out from inside the creative team is STRONG

As if a lot of reactive creative decisions got made in a relatively short timeframe which has led to ideas being cut short and stuff resolved clumsily or just fully pivoted away from and dropped.
The kind of reworking that would probably warrant starting over to make it cohere.

That said, I haven't re-read from the start of BC in a while so- maybe it's the update pacing that's throwing me off, but it feels like it's been a herky jerky ride to get where it is even if it's tenuously on the rails.

Yeah, I more or less like the concept of a new session given how d/rk and rose come out of the epilogues essentially commiting to do just that.
The plot ~feels~ right, but the creative process ~around~ it all is what makes everything feel off for me.

It's like they pivoted twice in a row, and now the direction feels utterly disjointed from what came before.
Diagetic/metatextual allusions to changes in the "script" make it really easy to think that they're being too clever by half and that they're sunk-cost-fallacy-ing their way through it.
