Looks as if Africa remains a colony.
"A senior 🇹🇼 security official told Reuters that the government's understanding was that 🇨🇳 applied pressure on the Seychelles, Madagascar and Mauritius, threatening economic sanctions including revoking debt relief."

Also 10 jährlich, das sind fast 40 seit dem.
Aber hey, clickt sich halt nicht und die andere Propaganda überdeckt das halt schön nebenbei.
"China already has the largest number of nuclear power units under construction globally, a position it has maintained for 19 consecutive years."
"China has approved about 10 new nuclear power units annually since 2022"
#Elektroauto
Loads of badges, "Scramble, let fight for freedom"
Got to amend here that I'm a status quoist ;)
Sponsored by men forcing girls into payed rape.
I would love to see this thing burn.
Absolutely..it's about the people here.
But I know I'm privileged as a white guy.
Situation would be different if I would be from the Philippines f.e.
But anyway. That openness to at least a few people is something to learn from.
That car is so ugly, even if electric.
Designers perspective: points -5 out of 10.
Yesss! Tasty and took like 10 min to be invited to a birthday party there....
Actually, this restaurant is in the japanese red light district, which is somehow different to ultra criminal red light districts in the EU. It's more safe - but what you see are the expensive (electric) cars that pimps and crooks and other mean people drive.
Nice people ride a bicycle btw.
Damn, second squid is of course octopus...😂
Described food
What to eat after a cycling trip?
Three cup squid with blood cake, fried snail meat and squid.
Sooo good - and 10 minutes later I was joining randomly in with a birthday party here.
Nice🥰
yepp. dachte beim erstmaligen lesen auch: das ist für deutsche besoffene boomer...die bei der frage "wie heißt nochmal mein schiff" eine simple antwort brauchen.
zahl als komplexitätslevel reicht für diese gehirne.
My classic spot for after a bike ride.
As just of now.
The Taiwanese health care system is modeled on the German one - but still seems to work more efficient.
Guess this is due to the "premium rates", aka a more progressive curve...
With people from the US it's weird. Either they are living here, speaking the language, being nice...
And then there are loud speaking tourists (even if nice, like that gay couple I met on a train, but had to guide them to an intermediate compartment - to not annoy others)

Thanks anyway!
And: you don't need to come here, just please give Taiwan a little bit of space in your view on geopolitics - the people here deserve it...
And: please don't restrict it to this one conflict, there is also life with its challenges - low average wages f.e. - going on.
Any determinism is like giving up way to early.
And: this is also already a strategy (and in the end warfare) of the CCP.
To threaten you and make you give up by yourself.
So...let's not give up - let's fight for freedom.
So decided on storing here my bicycle again in Taiwan. Of course. But a little bit maybe I was thinking for a brief moment.
But in the end, it's a bicycle. A beloved one, but over 23 million humans have a whole life here.
And they got beloved other humans here.
What should they think?
Oh. And we're talking of course about a steel bicycle...
Last time the leather bartape got a little bit mouldy...and the shifters were a bit sticky in the beginning.
Does anyone also know about a good carwash (misusable for bicycles) in Taipei?
Maybe @michaelturton.bsky.social ?
Cyclists in Taiwan - bike storage question.
My bicycle is stored in an underground parking space.
During 1.5 years it has aged, like in 10 years of European climate.
What are your tips for storing? Would a cover for the bicycle make things better or worse (condense water)?
Should add: Amami signifies. Was under Ryukyuan Kingdom of Okinawa, which was loose vassal of Ming, later became part of Kagoshima. PRC lusts for Okinawa, if they ever grab it, Amami will be their next target.
Already left it, it's in Taoyuan...been there with the bicycle.
Maybe I could arrange it being sent to Germany.
Store sign with the "Scramble - we ate open24/7" patch
Military patches
Maybe I was even the first Westerner in this shop😂
And finally found the famous patch...
I would say this is a joke😂
But also: why shouldn't something like this exist🫠
Just havin a snack near a shop selling huge parrots.
Omg, these are beautiful creatures - but wouldn't want to live anywhere near this place....they are LOUD😂

Ha, going for a Taoyuan loop today, but the old defunct railway track - that's now a cycle path....
Absolutely! Cheaper, and sort of within the usual retro time frame.
Meaning: Retro also goes forward in time...
And yesterday I also learned, that there is something like a "Kodak" Charmera. Tbh I'm a little bit tempted.
