Years ago, I read Irving Stone’s “Clarance Darrow for the Defense” in which he wrote about Darrrow’s atheism. Stone wrote that Darrow lead a more “Christ-like life” than any Christian he’d ever met. It’s not about power or following rules, it’s about love for each other and how one treats others.

The “right people” are any citizens who want to vote. There are no right and wrong voters if they are U.S. citizens. If you strip a citizen of their right to vote, perhaps you waive their responsibility to pay taxes.
