My friend Wren with the Romulan eats I made her. Hand sculpt, encapsulated silicone. (The day after application, so the edges are starting to fray.)

Three images stacked on the left, showing the sculpt, mold in progress, and completed mold for a slip cast ceramic tiki mug, and on the right, one large image showing an artist’s rendering of the finished mug, showing a black volcanic surface with cracks showing red underneath, and the figure of Pele emerging from the surface of the mug.

A double old fashioned glass on a home bar top, filled with a Mai Tai and mint leaves sticking out the top, with a custom designed Polynesian-style pattern screen printed on the glass in white ink. The glass sits atop a letterpress cardboard coaster with a rounded corner hexagonal shape, the same patterns as from the mug. Hand drawn patterns assembled digitally with Kilauea Cove added in “Creaky Frank” typeface. (The coaster also integrates art from Michael Gower, who designed the illustrated Pele face for a custom rubber stamp for the Kilauea Cove project.)

Some past work, so this account isn’t a barren wasteland. I sculpted the Borg eyepiece and Romulan ears for my friends’ cosplays, sculpted and produced the Pele tiki mug, and designed the double old fashioned glass and coaster.
