I’m not sure time off the air is a bad thing for trek.

I’m not at all saying the current shows being axed is good!

I’m just saying , given that this era is wrapping up, that trek has only ever built a bigger fandom in its off years (or decades), heightened the thirst.

They need to just sell it to a company who will invest the time and money it needs and deserves. theyve consistently canceled award winning shows like Prodigy and Lower Decks because they werent immediate successes. not every show can be lightning in a bottle. they gotta be given time to grow.
