Maybe this is because I interact with film first and foremost on a vibes/energy level? I don’t need the text to be super explicit? Honestly not sure. All this to say if you haven’t watched it bc it sounds like a homework movie, I don’t think it is one!!

I’ve heard so many people describe The Secret Agent as a great but difficult watch and that just doesn’t match my relationship with the movie. I found it gripping and even fun (in a somewhat distressing way) for basically the entire runtime.
