I can't help but be amused that Lee Cronin skipped making Evil Dead Rise 2 to make another Evil Dead movie anyway.
But this derivative possession horror movie isn't for me.
Yep.
EXCLUSIVE TEASER - Do you remember the boogeyman?
A cursed coastal town is plagued by the supernatural in Apple TV’s WIDOW'S BAY, premiering April 29 with the first two episodes.
Matthew Rhys stars in the series from creator Katie Dippold.
Godzilla takes Manhattan in the epic teaser trailer for GODZILLA MINUS ZERO.
In U.S. theaters November 6, 2026.
LONGLEGS 2.
The Hollywood Reporter breaks the news tonight that Osgood Perkins and Nicolas Cage will re-team for a Longlegs follow-up movie.
Perkins will write & direct for Paramount.
NOOOOOOOO WTF
Your reminder to watch ODDITY if you haven't already. Not just for the spine-tingling scares, but for the final stinger featuring a bellhop ghost in a uniform just like this one...
Oddity also features the Caveat bunny. Damian McCarthy is quietly building out his own connected horror universe.
I haven't watched the trailer yet but the images of the kids gave me that, yep
Last year over 130 million people took road trips.
15,400 of them were never seen again.
PASSENGER. In theaters May 22.
The new trailer for PASSENGER has dropped and I got the exclusive details from director André Øvredal, who tells me not only is this his scariest movie, but the trailer doesn't even show the best parts-
Happy Birthday!!

Today was not bad at all. Luggage drop offs were way longer and busier, but tsa was quick
Lizzy nailing "Born to be Alive" in Just Dance game
So sad it wasn't longer, but I'm already practicing my dance moves for next time!
I'm so sorry. Ready easy, good pup.
I'm so sorry, because I know that this is going to blow up the spot of some people that I care about:
Stop holding lav mics. You look stupid. You know where it goes. You know influencers were too dumb to use it right and that's how it became a trend.
YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS.
You get those thoughts out of your head right now and enjoy your trip, sir!
This series isn't on nearly enough radars so let me help: Hiro Murai, the guy who helmed the Teddy Perkins ep of Atlanta (among others), directs half this season along with other notable talent like Ti West, Sam Donovan (“Severance”), and Andrew DeYoung (Friendship).
It's so scary in the book, mostly because the spider walk continues downstairs where she starts licking people's ankles. It doesn't translate at all on screen though.
How does anyone have the energy for April Fools Day. I'm tired.
Was sad to see that Jamie Blanks passed this month, so I revisited his film STORM WARNING for my Commentary Commentary column. Gnarly little film, fun commentary with Blanks and the boys -- even I did leave out some of the, err, naughtier quotes. bloody-disgusting.com/editorials/3...
I am loath to do this, but I need your help. My 20+ year marriage has unexpectedly imploded. There's a kid involved. Aside from Lupus, Autism and a shitty 2009 Mazda, I have nothing. Things are fairly desperate right now, so if you can help out now in any way at all I'd be really grateful ❤️
A critic’s job is not to tell you whether or not you should see a movie.
I am bringing back Graveyard Shift, the horror movie series I created in Houston 15 years ago, at the River Oaks Theatre next week. Come watch BRAINSCAN, THE DUNGEONMASTER, EXISTENZ, and NIGHTMARES on the big screen every Friday in April!
