the basic theory of DOGE was that if powerful people said it was fine it didn’t matter what the law said.
I think proving that theory wrong is worth significant effort

High. And tight. Think Bob Gibson. But less frowny, more Zen.
You read my mind!
TBF, I do this all the time. When I hear "10 years ago" my mind just goes to "2000." Because there's no way I'm this fucking old, dude.
OK for fun: top funniest tweet ever? I am torn between "moon's haunted" and "Denise I was at your wedding."
I'm not checking your math, just noting one alternative: if you have T-Mobile you can get MLB TV for free.
Wow! One of your very best!
Please help me share the post below. I don’t have a huge following, but this nomination is a bit under the radar and deserves more attention. His committee vote is this Thursday.
Have you ever read SonsofSamHorn's politics forum? Because some people would like a word.
@numb.comfortab.ly
With that guy, top 3 is fucking impressive!
Upstate NY H.S., late '80s. At a basketball game some dickwads from my school start chanting "Go Columbia, beat the faggots." They stopped the game and warned the kids they'd be kicked out if they kept it up. So ... yeah, even then shit like this wouldn't be allowed.
Those are beautiful ... but I have absolutely no reservations about hating the Dodgers.
Photo of 7 year old Diana Crespo sitting with her parents at a table in a restaurant. Her dad is giving a thumbs up.
The public made noise for Liam Ramos and it got him released from Dilley.
Now we must make noise for 7 year old Diana Crespo.
Her parents were taking her for emergency medical care when ICE grabbed them, and she’s rotting in the camp sick and exposed to measles.
Get them out!
If Democrats haven't announced their proposal for the Donald Trump No Guns in Public bill by the end of the day, they're missing an easy shot
Hey Minnesotans. Have your bosses sent you a mealy-mouthed email about how to remain productive during these troubled times or some other example of non-committal, faux-concerned corporate-speak? We want to publish a bunch of these. Send examples to keith at racketmn.com. You will NOT be identified.
Statement from Michael and Susan Pretti Parents of Alex Jeffrey Pretti “We are heartbroken but also very angry. Alex was a kindhearted soul who cared deeply for his family and friends and also the American veterans whom he cared for as an ICU nurse at the Minneapolis VA hospital. Alex wanted to make a difference in this world. Unfortunately, he will not be with us to see his impact. I do not throw around the ‘hero’ term lightly. However, his last thought and act was to protect a woman. The sickening lies told about our son by the administration are reprehensible and disgusting. Alex is clearly not holding a gun when attacked by Trump’s murdering and cowardly ICE thugs. He had his phone in his right hand and his empty left hand is raised above his head while trying to protect the woman ICE just pushed down, all while being pepper sprayed. Please get the truth out about our son. He was a good man. Thank you.
Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti.
"Please get the truth out about our son."
MAINERS: See ICE? Have info or media?
The Maine Monitor newsroom is asking for any tips, photos, or videos of immigration activity –– ICE, CBP, DHS –– around the state of Maine you are willing to share. The Maine Monitor is often the first news site to report on statewide issues.

Do your thing, MN folks

Draft @jamellebouie.net for U.S. Senate.
With millions of people counting on us, we've decided to betray them.
Brave Chuck Schumer ran away! Bravely ran away, away! When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled.
Any Democratic senator, at any moment, could've derailed this by calling for Schumer's replacement and casting their colleagues as MAGA collaborators, thereby shifting the Overton window. But they're all in on it. This was always a team effort.
