F/S made it so that sex workers were not allowed to safely screen or blacklist clients, and everyone said we deserved to live in unsafe conditions because whores are subhuman.

Whores are always fighting for your rights before you know that you're about to lose them.

I need yall to understand that sex workers foretold of consequences that we could not predict when FOSTA/SESTA was passed into law. The infiltration of men on the tea app is one such consequence.

I’m terrified of leaving because what if they stop and hold me on the way out for my social media posts?

we really need to stop saying “arrested” by ICE. the word you’re looking for is “kidnapped”.

Cops are just state sanctioned violent gangs. They drink & do drugs on the job; harass, assault, rape, & murder whoever. They don’t know the law… with no consequences. They’re going to turn on their class first. I’d love to see their faces when they realize they’re disposable to capitalists too

It’s not one shot anymore. It’s no longer uniformed police. It’s criminal, gang activities that will go unpunished because the people they serve are currently in power. Mercenaries work for whoever benefits them the most. #dexterreed #acab

Walmart hiked prices on its Great Value food brands.

The result? Its net income spiked 93% to $10.5 billion towards the end of 2023.

Walmart rewarded shareholders with $5.9 billion in buybacks and dividends.

When I say price gouging is driving inflation, this is what I mean.

My place of work made 800m in revenue last year but I wanna know how much of that was from us having to pay to work. I fucking hate men who thrive on the backs of women, especially sex workers

Now that the government is in charge of sports betting, does that free up the mob to do like…high speed railway construction or universal healthcare?

I very much like looking at (and experiencing) gorgeous houses & communities. I love living in the southwest, and the horses are so cute. It makes me really sad that these houses and communities have such a short life ahead of them.

Socialism isn’t as scary as propaganda makes it out to seem. You can be rich in socialism, but not at the expense of people being poor. No one deserves to struggle to survive.

One component of sustainability is education of women, another is reducing inequalities. If we had equitable access to education, & increased access to tools that promoted democracy, like decentralized banking & net neutrality (internet as a public good), we could rapidly become a socialist society

Nationalize all large businesses with extensive, efficient models. Internationalize them actually.

Seriously, again, how dumb is Trump? And why has his extraordinary stupidity fallen off the radar during his third run for the presidency?

The two richest humans on planet earth have companies fighting in court to dismantle the govt. agency that holds corporations accountable for illegal union busting.

They know they can't stop workers from organizing, so now they want to destroy the whole system.

Pay attention.

Some would say the beginning of the Industrial Revolution was the beginning of the end of the world. 2020 lockdowns were the last chance we had to abruptly stop & reverse the damage. There won’t be anymore history books because we are at end of the end.

The billionaire bunkers will destroy the biosphere even faster than business as usual. We’re already in the middle of a mass extinction event, and humans are going to be extinct soon if we keep putting pressure on the planet.

Actually, I’m pissed. We should all be pissed. We had a chance to make radical change in the best interest for everyone but the richest 1,000 people in the world, and we’re doing the opposite.

Because of my small safety net during covid, I was able to focus on improving my mental health and physical recovery from years at a highly demanding job. Slipping back into the fear of no safety net, no guarantee that tomorrow will be better (usually the opposite), doesn’t sit well with me.

I guess because I got to experience some of that for a short time, I know how good it feels to not worry about making it month to month, knowing that I had a place to live and food to eat regardless. My job was completely closed for 7 months, but I had a small safety net.

I saw the effects of all of that + privilege. I saw healthier and happier people. I saw a healthier population in the people able to stay home and not get covid or any other communicable disease. I saw more creativity, and more passion from those who could afford to change careers/pursuits.

When the world stopped in 2020, I hoped that it would be the catalyst for radical change. I hoped that enough people would see the gift in the chaos. We tested universal basic income, universal healthcare, controlled and regulated public spaces, and working from home for much of the workforce.

Clean air*

General strike May 1, 2028. We deserve better than what we’re dealing with now. We deserve clear air, clean water, people-centered society, and more; the sustainable development goals set by the UN as guiding document.

I talk to a lot of men and women who are important in their industry, across many industries. The amount of people who need me to define sustainability is atrocious. The UN began discussing SDG’s and predecessors before I was born. The lack of forward progress is the result of unchecked capitalism.

Studying sustainability, even at the most surface level, has been eye opening and scary. If the policy makers don’t understand the urgency, or they just refuse to act because of greed, we should overthrow the government. Either way, dismantling the whole system is the best bet.

I started reading Capital & The Communist Manifesto the other night and was plunged into a depression spiral. Capitalism served its purpose. The bourgeoisie served its purpose. It’s time for a new world order. Not in the Q anon way, but in a conscious, intentional, egalitarian, sustainable way.
