It makes me wish that the whole series were in dual POV, but it is cool to read his!

The writing style was probably my favorite part of it all. It jumped from past and present, multiple POVs, there was some parts that were written like a script, some parts like it was written like a poem. It was so well written and not what I was expecting!

I just finished it and I rated it 5 stars. I wasn’t expecting it to be such a good read, I thought it was going to be funny and weird. But it was emotional and it was beautifully, uniquely written.

Yes! And it’s a short 115 page read so you could finish it in one setting 🫶

I just finished Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata and I definitely recommend this book.

It’s short, fast paced, and it tackles topics of consumerism, work culture, and pressure and judgment if you don’t fall into societal norms.

That’s still a great goal especially in between writing which is an achievement in itself!

I am guilty of doing half stars a lot 😆 because sometimes it can range in between those options for me

That rating makes sense! to me it’s more average & not memorable, but I liked it at the time and might recommend. I rate alot of “fluffy” romance books three stars because I like it in the moment depending on mood and vibes but I won’t probably think about it after unless writing and characters.

That’s a good goal! Mine is 50. 💙 I told myself I would read more classics and literary fiction this year, i really should try to read more non fiction but unless it’s a memoir here and there I struggle with it!

That’s awesome! I’ve finished 4 books so far but I had some time to read given New Years, I told myself my goal is 50 books — that would put me at about a book a week and I feel like I can make that work!

me too! I want to read more translated lit, lit fic, "weird girl books" and classics!
I just finished My Husband by Maud Ventura last week it is a french book translated to english and I loved it!
