Reporter: What do you make of Republicans saying that Virginia—

AOC: Wah wah wah.

We have asked Republicans for 10 years to ban partisan gerrymandering. And for 10 years, Republicans have said no.

What they’re just mad at is that they have been accustomed to a Democratic Party that rolls over.

AOC represents EVERY WOMAN in America right now who is sick and tired of misogyny & misinformation.

She represents us and the rage we feel.

Proud to be Virginian tonight.

We just put Mike Johnson on notice.

In other news, suspicions circulate around possible arsons committed by Mark Flamesworthy, President of the Arsonist's Guild, who recently posted a video of himself dousing a warehouse with gasoline while loudly describing every step in the arson process.

If you live in VA and haven't gotten out to vote YES, don't worry, you can go to your regular polling place on Tuesday.

Don't forget! This is just as important as showing up in November!

Why am I voting YES on (or before) April 21st?

1. Gotta do it for the plot. 🙃
2. We have all been begging our politicians to do SOMETHING to stop Trump. They finally found something more than platitudes that they can do. Now it’s our turn to show up for them.

Best thing we can do as random citizens is vote hard to stack as much Dem power in 26, which will make 28 a lot more likely to be legitimate.

5 days ago 5 0 0 0

Cheating is a lot more likely in 28 than 26. For a national presidential election with the EC, cheating in a few locations can turn the entire thing.

For a midterm, every precinct in every state matters so it's a lot harder to shift the overall outcome.

Hopefully when Dems take control in January they'll still remember and hold her in contempt then

Ranges with brand new privates can be pretty scary even with combat MOSs! 😂

Yeah...I've already done that, twice. Now I'm a socialist who responsibly owns a rifle for other reasons.

I'd rather not be drafted to fight more of this evil empire's wars

I've definitely met plenty of soldiers who can't shoot for shit so my experience definitely isn't universal lol

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

I can't speak for everyone's experience, but that definitely wasn't the case with me. Safety was emphasized constantly, and while we weren't trained to be snipers we spent weeks learning how to accurately fire at targets.

I was 11B though so maybe it's an MOS difference?

It's weird how we're deranged and yet every fucking thing we predicted has come true.

It's almost like we're not deranged at all and we are accurately perceiving reality.

Also, fwiw, I don't think assassinating the new leader would be an instant win move for Putin. The Hungarians have shown they're pissed; I doubt they'd give up after one guy got shot.

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

Sure, but let's refocus on what we're talking about here: Someone who isn't Orban won the election.

So the Hungarians went from 100% guaranteed bad to less than 100% guaranteed bad. Maybe bad things will happen. But right now, today, this is good news.

1 week ago 0 0 1 0

Seriously, I don't think it's possible to overstate just how much of an escalation a true invasion of Hungary would be. Maybe in 10 years post Ukraine they could think about it, but that gives years for the Hungarians to fix their issues and prepare.

1 week ago 0 0 1 0

Couple things wrong with this take.

1. Until the war in Ukraine is over, Putin doesn't have the extra capacity to invade a lemonade stand.
2. Hungary is a NATO country. Invading Hungary would be way, way, WAAAAAYYYY harder and more dangerous for Putin than Ukraine. Like, orders of magnitude harder

1 week ago 0 0 2 0

Sure, in a perfect world Putin would be gone too. But with Orban we know for a fact they had someone willing to be Putin's lapdog. With the new guy, they at least have a chance at something better.

You can fuck off all the way to the sun with that bullshit. Pointing out that one side is a literal fascist who wants to kill members of my family and their families too isn't a bad thing, you fucking weirdo

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

You are ABSOLUTELY encouraging them not to vote. Please, stop doing that.

1 week ago 0 0 0 0

Dude, kick rocks. I am doing everything I can to enable having better choices. With my time, money, and effort I push for the best candidate pool I can in every election

Then I vote against the fascist because I'm not fucking stupid and it would be cool if others weren't either.

It's also a little funny that the guy who is encouraging people to vote is being asked if he cares about democracy by the person encouraging people not to vote.

Never change, internet. 😂

You clearly recognize the importance of voting. It would be super cool if you didn't undermine your own efforts by encouraging people not to vote.

There's plenty of blame to go around. Some of that blame absolutely goes to the people who didn't vote, because they're grown-ups who made a choice and grown-ups are responsible for their own decisions.
