This may be a fundamentally new kind of sin blending blasphemy, idolatry, divination, and simony, among others. Those who are not horrified at this may be entirely lacking in authentic religious awareness and feeling.

Man, we are so paying for that great Dirty Thirty now. Disco Cher is...not good. #AT40

Now here's someone who really should have been a one-hit wonder. Ick. #AT40

Yeah, I think he's actually quite good at what he does. It's just a terrible fit for this show. #AT40

OK, if this wasn't the GOAT Dirty Thirty, I really want to know what was. #AT40

This is such an artifact of its time (and place). How many people hearing it for the first time today would immediately get "the spoon up your nose" and "table at Elaine's"? #AT40

The Todd Rundgren original was better, but it's not terrible. Little dose of existentialism with a cool backing track. :-)

I had this album on 8-track. #AT40

This Dirty Thirty is so good that I'm expecting an all-Osmonds top 10. #AT40

Got all the way to #34 without hitting something that wasn't an absolute banger. I don't remember this at all, but it's not bad. #AT40

Whatever the "over" is for "how many times does the guest host mention his name", take it.

Add on one of the best Orleans songs. We're really on a roll here.
John Hall (leader of the group) would go on to represent the Woodstock area in Congress.

#AT40 I was expecting to be listening in as I was out doing yard work, but at noon here in upstate NY the temperature was 50 with a "feels like" of 37, so I'm hanging out for at least a while. #AT40

This is a pretty amazing Dirty Thirty, which fills me with trepidation about what's lurking above. #AT40

As #AT40 "special reports" go, that one was certainly one of them.

The thing that makes this whole shtick work is that Aykroyd really genuinely likes blues and soul. And that he's completely insane (in a good way). #AT40

Who, exactly, decided that this guy who sounds like he shoud be doing voiceovers for a Godzilla movie should be subbing for Casey? *Totally* different vibe. #AT40

Why didn’t you just post a link to that post so we all could see it?

And what is “full on race communism” supposed to be, exactly?
Other than a ketamine-fueled fantasy, that is?

I'm actually okay with this if it means they're getting deported.

Or possibly "Our Reich will last a thousand years!"

I like this decision. I've long thought that Cora leans too much on the bullpen and I'm sick of hearing Flemming say things like "the bullpen is drained" as though it was something that...just happened.

The President declared our country had genocidal intent, and the argument his own supporters are making in defense of it is that the genocidal threat was merely a bargaining tactic to achieve a ceasefire deal worse than the status quo before the war he started.

No part of that is acceptable.

Impeachment is easier (requires lower thresholds in Congress) and more permanent. Stop pretending the Cossacks don't work for the Tsar. They're never going to invoke the 25th.

Did Trump Just Threaten to Use Nuclear Weapons in Iran? If such an order comes to pass, the military can and must refuse.

If Trump does give an order to attack civilian targets that have no military value as a means of collectively punishing the Iranian people - and make good his threat to begin a genocide - Marco Rubio should resign and the military must refuse the order.

As usual, when someone says "a majority of..." they mean "people like me".

And it's not clear (to me, at least, but IANAL) that the removal by Congress is permanent. Could he resume office with another letter?

And if it comes and goes and nothing happens, and the apologists say “it was just a threat to get them to buckle, he never meant he’d actually do it,” it is morally correct to punch them in the face.

I’ve spent almost 30 years teaching and writing and speaking to people both in and outside the military, in the U.S. and abroad, about why we need LINES WE WILL NOT CROSS even in war. Now my country is crossing those lines over and over again with unfathomable arrogance and disrespect for human life
