I’m not a lawyer, and I’m exhausted, so I can’t say exactly which part of the constitution forbids it, but if the constitution does not forbid the president from suing the government in his personal capacity and then ordering the government to settle in his official one, it forbids nothing.

Slightly maddening when serious news outlets drag everyone down to Trump’s level by using language like “feud” as if it’s some reality TV spat. Pope Leo delivered a moral critique of American military aggression. That is not “feuding” even if Trump responded with a deranged personal attack.

The U.S. just killed five more people in its latest boat strikes. The death toll of these extrajudicial killings is almost 170 civilians.
And more deaths are on the horizon.

There’s no such thing as “birthright citizenship for illegal aliens.”
The U.S. Constitution is abundantly clear that if you are born in the United States, you are a citizen. Trying to take away citizenship from Americans is not only extreme, but also unconstitutional.
Probably true. I have noticed it getting significantly better just in the past couple weeks with every vscode/extension update. But I haven't compared with anything else in a while.
My workflow right now is to ask it to create the plan (with lots of detail) in one request. And then maybe a couple follow-ups. Then "implement the plan" being a single request will churn away for many minutes implementing the whole thing for basically no cost.
I feel like I'm cheating the system by using the $10/mon GitHub Copilot subscription with the Opus 4.6 model. Copilot charges "per request" instead of per token. If you prompt with more fully-baked requests you can get a lot of mileage with zero "usage windows".
Donald Trump is deranged. He must be impeached and removed from office.
Republicans who don’t stop him will have blood on their hands, and anyone who carries out an order to bomb civilian targets will be complicit in war crimes and will be held accountable.
you have to get him out of office and you have to do it today
even if it gets blocked you force an impeachment vote right now
how else can you live with yourself if he follows through with this and you didn’t do everything you could to stop it
If I was a member of the cabinet or Congress. I would be asking myself what I would say to my grandchildren when they asked, “what did you do when the president of the United States threatened to destroy a whole civilization?”
House and Senate Republican leaders so far silent as Trump threatens genocide in Iran tonight.
I reached out to aides to Mike Johnson and John Thune for comment about an hour ago. So far, nada.
I feel sick to my stomach waiting around to see what atrocity Trump has in mind for the people of Iran this evening. It's hard to fathom our other elected leaders aren't able to check him in any meaningful way. It's an indictment not just of voters but of our whole system. We're ruled by a mad king.
Whatever happens, this is a deeply shameful episode in American history that will leave a permanent stain on the country.
Repeatedly vowing to commit war crimes against millions of innocent civilians is beyond the pale.
If you have any information at all on these plans, now is the time to share it. Reach me on Signal at marisakabas.04
I think people are allowed to draw conclusions about the American people based on their decision to put this man in office bsky.app/profile/pear...
If you’re an engineer in the US with Iranian colleagues, they probably graduated from here. It’s MIT caliber. What the fuck are we doing.

The dangerous law known as FISA Section 702 is up for renewal in Congress. It allows government to spy on Americans’ communications without a warrant.
Use our action center to tell Congress to reform Section 702 and end mass warrantless surveillance!
There's a series too. Not as good as the movie but still fun www.imdb.com/title/tt6156...
Axios: Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth's pledge of "no quarter, no mercy for our enemies" violates a bright‑line ban in the laws of war, legal experts say. March 15, 2026
Now that at least one U.S. air crew member is alive on the ground in Iran, it's worth revisiting Pete Hegseth's commitment to "no quarter, no mercy for our enemies."
This is the scenario he was warned about.

Both of Marco Rubio’s parents were born in Cuba. Marco Rubio was born in Miami in 1971, before they became US citizens. He is a US citizen because he was born in the US under birthright citizenship. #Hypocrites
🧵 A masterclass in creating a dysfunctional command climate.
Also, just existing in the military is dangerous business. And it's why we take safety so seriously. And when the SecDef reaches down and cancels a subordinate's investigation out of hand, brother, bad things are happening.
I don't see this said enough: the widespread use of generative AI is not only making our jobs as educators harder logistically, but also emotionally. It is genuinely sad to be suspicious of students when you have spent so much time building a pedagogy based on trust and not being a cop. It sucks.
Late last year I began speaking to children and their parents detained at Dilley to hear about their experiences in their own words. Parents told me some kids were so distraught they cut themselves or talked about suicide. 2/

I cannot understate what a terrible, hateful, harmful idea this is.
We all knew the thin veneer of “open markets! Capitalism!” for the GOP was gone, but now they’re not even pretending. This is a direct shot at small businesses, the lifeblood of the economy, for no legitimate reason.
Reminder of why this is all happening.
